Does anyone know anything about "ehnow.ca"? I mean, I guess I applaud the effort and the sentiment, but I feel like it's going against the current to stand up yet another segregated social network.

One of the Sobeys stores near me apparently does not use the maple leaf to indicate Canadian products, but just to sell more American shit. ALWAYS READ THE LABEL. And maybe think twice about shopping at stores that behave this way.
Screenshot of a post on another social network
>
Went to Sobey's Panavista today, noticed they had a Compliments version of Clamato Juice with a red maple leaf beside the price tag. So I looked at the label to check ingredients and see where it was produced. Product of USA. I mentioned it at the front desk and told them if they corrected it that I would not post it. Two staff members had me point it out and that's where the fun started. According to Sobey's staff placing a maple leaf by the sticker does not indicate that it is Canadian. If the price tag does not say product of Canada then they did nothing wrong. I explained that people in a hurry look for the leaf to signal canadian products and they replied that they shouldn't. So ignore the leaf Sobey's puts by price tags because according to them it doesn't mean anything.Photo of a price sticker with a Canadian flag next to it, directly below a product's label saying that it was made in the U.S.A.
