The reason being infrastructure works due to very frequent rockfall and trees falling, as a result of the 2024 fires and the consequent 2025 floods. 120

It supports only Athens - Thessaloniki trains for now, the accuracy is actually good enough to check on which track the train is on. ATH Urban Transport is rebuilding a WWII bunker under Omonoia Sq., right by the Line 1 station. Hellenic Train konzentriert sich mehr auf die Hauptstrecke Athen - Thessaloniki. Das kann auch bedeuten, dass die S-Bahn Patras 3 mehr Züge erhält (6+3 Stadler GTW 2/6 Meter). 020

The prices will be within a range set by the Ministry of Transportation, but HT will have the option to request readjustment of the range in the future. 260

TBM2 has almost reached the end of its path, TBM1 is almost halfway. Line 4 will serve 15 stations and will be 12,8 km long, with GoA4, 80 m long 4 car trains and PSDs. Both displaying route number 054 and with passengers onboard, but did not start any journey while I was nearby. The important bit here is that neither 054, nor any other regular bus serve this stop. 010

The track condition is very bad compared to other countries like Italy or (especially) Austria. So much movement, so much noise. Also we started with a 9 minute delay due to other trains in front of us. The train is almost full 🥲 130

A new operator "Levante Trains" will run trains on the Katakolo (Port) - Pirgos - Ancient Olympia line beginning first half of 2026. One round trip per day, leaving about 4 hours in Olympia. Cruise passengers will be the target of these trains. 151

Also when they’re at 0% the screens turn off. It’s such a good system and it works very smoothly, but it does the wrong things. Smoothly. 130
