Saw this on instagram and people in the comments can’t stop saying “we can’t be stay at home parents anymore”. Beloved, I was raised by a single mom and my grandma (whose education stopped at grade 8). They still parented me. If your child isn’t potty trained by second grade, you’re a bad parent.

To raise exceptional sons you need to be exceptional parents. In my 20+ years of teaching the good parents don’t blame others for their son’s mistakes. Kid isn’t doing well in school? It’s their son’s mistake. They get in trouble? They hold their son accountable. But it’s on parents to change, too.
