Yep, but Tom Veitch passed away on Feb. 14, 2022. I miss him; no right to do anything with all this work sans Tom.

From 1973, the year I graduated from high school: "Ravishing Insects" splash page. From a sketch book I gave to an old college amigo decades ago, no idea where it ended up. Hope somebody has it, somewhere... would love to scan from it. ©1973, 2026 Stephen R. Bissette

Cover art by myself (pencils & inks) for Tom Veitch/Bissette comics series GRUMM, which we attempted to find a home for back in the day. Tom fully scripted almost a half-dozen issues, I did all kinds of concept art and this cover—no go.

Concept art for a Tom Veitch/Stephen R. Bissette comics series Tom and I could NOT find a publisher for. Ah, well, we sure tried.

I did cover art for my pal Ryan Brown's BOG: SWAMP DEMON comic series. I think I did all the covers to his original run.

Reorganizing my movie pressbook library; shelving specially built by our late son Michael for this collection, time to get it all in order anew after 5+ years of pulling EVERYTHING apart to find every scrap of TYRANT® & SWAMP THING art & artifacts for publication.

Impossible to match or top October 2025 Brattleboro, VT Stone Church event with Claudio Simonetti's Goblin playing LIVE to Dario Argento's DEEP RED (1975). Incredible film, incredible score, incredible environment, incredible experience, so glad I got to be there. To left of screen: "God is Love"

This was less than a 3rd of my laserdisc collection. Found a retailer seriously interested in purchasing the collection; at this point, 3/4 of the collection is in their shop. Final 1/4 still with me to scan cover art & rescreen a few select titles. A great relief to get these outta here...

There's a few shots in THE ODYSSEY in which Pattinson's face, lit from the side, looks almost exactly like a young Boris Karloff—and given the breadth & variety of Pattinson's roles over the past few years, it's astonishing to note the resemblance to Karloff's career arc.

1st Halloween/October viewing: PRIMETIME (2026), in theater. Solid yet familiar in content, tenor, tone, thrust, borderline genre fare, very much of our time (Epstein/Trump) despite firm grounding in recent media history. Rescreened THE ODYSSEY, confirms Pattinson as the new Karloff! That face...

Somewhat astonished that after years of digging, searching, excavating from every corner of my living & working space, I can begin to sort, file, & put away decades of artifacts from my SWAMP THING & TYRANT® labors at long, long last. It's been a long stretch, but now it's in the hands of others.

Screened the full pre-release version of NIGHT OF THE DEMON/CURSE OF THE DEMON (1957) today; still a stunning, irreplaceable classic, sterling Jacques Tourneur direction, stellar cast, suffocating sense of mounting dread.

2026 hand-painted-pre-manufactured-ceramics mug, for the spring TYRANT® Kickstarter, this now lives with a lucky attendee of the live online event. Photographed after kiln-firing, finished. Impossible to capture the roundabout nature of the image I put down. I've done a few variants of this since.

Our son Danny suffered a savaging of his lower leg by a dog earlier this year. He's healing up—but owner lied to police, lied about their dog having rabies shots (meaning Danny had to endure that battery of injections) & skipped state by 4 am the morning of the attack—& till traumatized by it all.

Also, THE LEGEND OF BLOOD MOUNTAIN (1965) featured Georgia's Blood Mountain monster, never named as such & once shown, hardly a Bigfoot—but, like IVANPAH, padded with new footage & reissued as LEGEND OF McCULLOUGH'S MOUNTAIN (1975) as a Bigfoot movie.

"Night of the Kill" (Oct 20, 1959) first Bigfoot TV incarnation (offscreen); IVANPAH aka TEENAGERS BATTLE THE THING (shot earlier, only theatrical 1963) retroactively became CURSE OF BIGFOOT (1975); THE EXOTIC ONES aka MONSTER AND THE STRIPPER (1968), Sleepy LaBeef as the 'Swamp Thing.'
