Super-interesting paper here using Finnish mortality data that finds that when alcohol became more affordable (2000-07), deaths due to alcohol rose much faster for low-income groups, than high-income, especially men. When affordability fell (2008-17) the opposite was true. doi.org/10.1111/dar....

Main observation of the first half is that there's easy money to be made by Haringey Council enforcing this rule. If you're caught littering, you could be issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN). The minimum charge for an FPN is £65, the maximum is £150, and the default is often £100.
