We had some really nice beer pouring at last weeks beer festival. Nothing flashy, just some really well made classics. I don’t always like what the Beer Nut has to say about our beer, but more often than not I agree with it. In this case, I both like and agree!

My wife was in Ballyboughal in North County Dublin yesterday. There's a sunflower field run by St Francis Hospice there where you can walk among the flowers and pick some to bring home, in return for a donation to the hospice.

Pretty disappointing how many people and businesses stuck around there. Followers are more important than principles apparently. It would have made a great statement if 50% of people just walked away from it. In the end I’d say it was about 10%-20% over a 6 month period.
