Happy Friday ✨️ Been writing my soccer romance, editing my historical fantasy, and staying warm and cozy - it finally feels like fall! #writersky #booksky

✨️Happy Friday✨️ Been dealing with some serious social media posting burnout, but got some help from a fellow author. The gatekeeping is so, so real in this community (not the author who helped me). I would spill all the secrets if I had them, just saying. We're all in this together. #writersky

Authors of multiple books in multiple genres: how do you decide which of your books to prioritize posting about? Or do you post about all them on a sort of rotation? I'm trying to review how/what I post and was told to focus on ONE topic... but I write in 5 different genres. #writersky

Yeah I've just been jumping around too but now I worry it confuses the algorithms and that's why I can't seem to find new readers. I'm gonna try out just focusing on 1 book at a time for now and see what happens!

Made some close-up portraits of the MCs of my historical romance! I used images by a creator on Canva and modified them in my drawing app (which is allowed). They're not quite what I'm wanting yet but I think I'm getting there! #writersky #characterart #art

The world is on fire and I'm over here trying to figure out why my IG views have dropped (not that they were high to begin with) even though I'm following all the advice I've been given, so 🤷🏼‍♀️ #writersky

✨️Friday Writer Check-in✨️ Been writing & editing & pondering wtf I'm even doing. Writing is my life, but I have no readers to show any of it to :( and I feel stuck and not sure what I can/should be doing to get un-stuck. Anyway, happy Friday! #writersky #booksky

Agreed. I know many authors and stores are trying to get more going but it's just not a huge city and the demand isn't really there. There's an event in a neighboring town in a few weeks but their fee to enter + the fact that they don't supply tables/chairs etc makes it rough :(

Stephanie Rose - Author @stephanierose1201.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Felt that! It's truly tough to juggle all of it.

Stephanie Rose - Author @stephanierose1201.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

It truly is! We have so few local events where I live and I have no money to travel, so :(

Thank you. I think I'm looking for guidance because I don't know *how* to get unstuck and where to go next :( my motivation is here I just don't know where to put it

(From my current WIP) Holly likes to bake! Jamie likes to play video games or catch up on TV shows he's behind on (he's a famous soccer player so he doesn't often get the time).
