I saw this interesting article about conversations on scrubs, wearing them outside the hospital and what they signify... and I looked at my line of work and thought about how I prefer them for comfort and security. What are your thoughts? doctorsonsocialmedia.com/wearing-scru...

T3. I think it also means that for the person presenting, there must be respect for the number of hours of work and effort behind the presentation. Some higher ups are always looking for mistakes that they can focus on rather than the “meat” or outcome of the case.#healthxph

T3. It would mean no aggressive insults hurled or refraining from even microexpressions during conferences. Every person is entitled to share what they learned, no matter how obscure the fact, or how little their experience is. That still counts. We don’t need “wow” all the time. #healthxph

#healthxph Psychological safety means there’s no judgment and options are explored so that the best way forward for the patient can be agreed on amicably.

T2. Yes, especially if in differences of opinion in the people who are managing the case. It would do well for the other doctor referred to not to criticize the treatment of the referring doctor WHILE the patient listening. My thing is, if you don’t agree, let the other know DIRECTLY.#healthxph

T1. After a bad experience of being scolded in the past, some people would rather not risk the possible discomfort of public humiliation. For a trainee or a fellow, it might keep you quiet because you don’t want to be seen as someone who talks a lot.#healthxph

T3. To be perfectly honest, there is no substitute to getting enough energy and motivation that from a good night's sleep, where you feel safe and free from worries. Stimulants can only do so much for short bursts. Have something that fills you with purpose, to keep motivated.#healthxph

T2. I have a funny story... I had a full day of work, with back to back meetings, I thought I wouldn't have energy for a pickleball training session at the end of the day. Guess what, I attended that...had a lot of fun, AND ended up not sleeping until 4 in the morning! #EnergyBoost #healthxph

T1. My favorite is coffee from UCC... even the sachets are very good for me, I love their taste, and they are a quick fix. For coffee shops, I get the Matcha Espresso Fusion from Starbucks... matcha balances out the coffee effect, so you don't have a spike, and correspondingly crash. #healthxph

I remember watching a reel about how nurses are kind, but they're not nice. Patients might be satisfied if they feel their wishes and requests are granted, but for health care providers patient satisfaction should be if their health care needs are met. Sometimes there can be mismatch. #HealthXPH

T2. My approach to this is interpersonal feedback, when it comes to patient care. Like, if they themselves feel that there is improvement from the interactions, and there is consistency in how they show up and take care of themselves, I'd say that that was a job well done for me. #healthxph
