Russians were told why they are freezing in their homes during the heating season.
Krohin: During the heating season, apartments are cold due to worn-out networks.

Russians will continue to experience freezing temperatures in their homes for a long time during the heating season due to problems with pipes, according to Konstantin Krokhin, a member of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Committee on Entrepreneurship in the Housing and Utilities Sector, according to NSN.

Residents of many Russian regions are complaining of cold in their apartments, despite the start of the heating season. According to him, one of the main reasons is the critical deterioration of utility networks, which in some places has reached 90%. Utility companies intentionally do not turn on heating at full capacity to prevent major accidents and pipe bursts.

The problem is exacerbated in areas where older heating systems are being repurposed to serve new multi-story buildings. Networks originally designed for five-story buildings cannot handle the load of 20-story buildings, and attempts to increase pressure to supply the required amount of heat only increase the risk of breakdowns and accidents.

Bubonic Plague: This form infects the lymph nodes and causes painful swellings called buboes. While still serious, it has a lower fatality rate (around 30% to 60% untreated) and is the most survivable type of plague . World Health Organization (WHO) +1

The same bacteria, but would not call it the same disease: Pneumonic Plague: This form infects the lungs and causes severe pneumonia. It is almost 100% fatal if treatment with antibiotics does not start within the first 24 hours of showing symptoms.

Adding 743 people who were not going to travel to the EU and took out their money a long time ago, to a list of sanctioned people, is really pretending to do something while in reality not having to do anything.

Actually, pulmonic plague is already very deadly and very quickly so, much more so than the bubonic version. So no real need for either to cause a disaster.

Katrien @steenbr.bsky.social · 07/10/2026
No, pulmonic plague is not endemic in either, and is much more deadly and infectious.

I would say values now are very similar to those in 2022. In a sense one should add liquidity deficit (handy that a deficit is indicated as a positive amount in this calculation, confusing in any other situation) and repro loan amount.

No, both have been lifting sanctions. However, those lifted probably have a minor economic effect compared to those still enacted.

They use collagen filler, which seems needing replacement rather often. Not an expert, had never heard of this till seeing these Russian videos.

Konstantin from Inside Russia seems to think that most of the recently sold government bonds end up in the central bank as collateral for the unpaid repro loans. I presume this has some interesting consequences as to coupon payments and in years to come, full repayment.

Russians generally do not heat with gas, but with natural gas, so the attacks on the refineries is not going to freeze Russians.

I would think that in Russia, most houses afurther from cities still use wood to heat.

Nope, this was not the first time sanctions were lifted. It doesn't get much media attention when the EU lifts sanctions generally, as it doesn't fit the paradigm. But in June they lifted the sanction on Russian fur. EU gives Russian luxury fur a pass | Euractiv share.google/xJf0mwNfHvGp...

I wish you were right, but from what I am seeing, the EU and European countries are acting very weak and unwilling to do anything. Germany still has not handed Taurus missiles to Ukraine which in my opinion would have been an appropriate reaction to the hybrid attacks in Germany.
