It's some kind of weird dark future joke that in the amount of time I've been on hold I could've *physically* gone to the building and gotten an answer

We're sorry, our staff is answering other calls. Please hold on and we will be with you shortly. There are more than 3 callers ahead of you. *30 seconds of the start of the same classical sounding piece*

It is now the un-time, the period that does and does not exist until the budding of the new year

BUTTER BEACH ASS Not sure what to make of that

in a world that is dogpilled...someone has to throw stick

StealthyMoose @stealthymoose.bsky.social · 07/12/2023

I misread "dogpiled" as "dogpilled" and it's cracking me up. Yeah bro they got dogpilled. They nap a lot, chase stick, & get in trouble for chewing on the couch.

Day after a migraine this website's css making text jump around a few pixels makes me feel a bit odd

The math checks out, this has gotta be it 🤔

If I refresh my package tracking enough that means it'll get here faster right?

one of my goals in the games industry is to gaslight @stealthymoose.bsky.social and @amgsheena.bsky.social into retconning the lore Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion so it's a parable about the dangers of operating heavy machinery without OSHA certification

Honestly with how much faster those things have made security I'm down with also not saying it

We tried that unfortunately & they'll cover PT and chiropractors but not massage therapy/sports massage. That does work for some plans though!

Silently punching the air in victory as the roomie's friend who crashed here last night intuitively used the nice little coffee station with the mug tree I set up (I am over 30)

I'm def still malding (but slightly amused) that the big issue w/ 4k was Unity HDRP performance scaling nonlinearly which is something I've been hollerin about for a long time. Vindication, at great cost

It's fucked up that it's 2023 and there's still no solution to big muscle knots other than "idk get a massage lol? also that's not covered by insurance but is definitely the source of your pain rn"

I think you would, it's so laser focused but because of that there's so much nuance to the technique

I know it is what it is, but darn it getting an email from gamedeveloper dot com (formerly gamasutra) asking me to publish on there feels pretty cool

Yea I’m trying to get off fixating on it but the absolute audacity to be like “I looked at your visit and insurance didn’t pay” when I linked the actual law in question that says you have to bill within 11 months of service (literally from an appointment over a year ago)

StealthyMoose @stealthymoose.bsky.social · 06/11/2023

I’m not quite sure what I expected but there’s a very uncomfortable type of incandescent anger that comes from being told to call the financial assistance department when you inquire as to why a hospital is sending me an illegal medical bill

Nice, I had mall teriyaki for the first time in like a year. Still hits different.

The only thing worse than air fryer gang's smugness is the fact that they're absolutely right. God dammit these wedge fries are pristine.

He did it so well. I love how he wrestles with paranoia in the series, especially when Lex uses it to mess with him, and the voice really sells it

I rewatched justice league/JLU recently and man they’re just straight up _good_, especially their long term handling of Superman

Man. Electricity is wild. Fixing up a lit Halloween miniature house turned in to a wild deep dive on LEDs & now I know what forward voltage means

I started getting the "bun length" dogs because they were longer & skinnier at the same weight so I could fit more stuff beside them in the bun. Inspired me to do kind of a DIY relish of onion/celery that really pops w/ hotdogs and has the chicago dog vibe
