Last night I had 6-astra-max plan out and begin working on a port of the full source nix/guix bootstrap to raw Buck2 BUILD files and it apparently completed this morning! will be interesting to evaluate how it did here

also means you can apply this harness to other things; eg i check my Cargo.lock against osv.io so every package is a "test", then an advisory causes a failure. i did this mostly so that the "total test count" buck returns is A Really Big Number, which is pleasing github.com/thoughtpolic...

demo UI for a #jj-vcs feature ive been working on, "hunt", which bisects bugs even when your testsuite is flaky and unreliable. here it's finding a bug in a 10k commit history where 10% of test failures are flakes i.e. 1 out of 10 FAILs are invalid. algo from: research.google/pubs/flake-a...

kind of funny the guy doing oss-fuzz security fixes for ffmpeg thinks sending patches wouldn't help while everyone yells about it lol. this roughly tracks with my experience writing exploits and handling security issues and yet i see nobody bring it up
