Currently the only thing you can realistically do besides not using TOML or doing flat tables is the following abomination.

Apparently the latest released version of TOML (1.0) does not support newlines at the start of inline tables. They fixed that in 1.1, but it's not released yet and no significant progress has been made in a long time. Some libraries chose not to support unreleased features which sucks even more :(
