I'll be posting the first 60 Cloth Trows Kickstarter packages tomorrow! But there are still just under a third of metal minis backers who haven't completed the pledge manager 🙀 Info is in the update from the 23rd of September and a KS message from me. Go have a look if you haven't already.
A pile of postal boxes on my packing desk with four cloth trow miniatures, four cloth goblin miniatures, three singing cloth rat miniatures and a cloth troll miniature just peeking out.

I prepped and primed some minis to paint and maybe I'll finally finish the cloth wolves I started ages ago. These will all be block colour and shiny varnished ✨ Probably shouldn't have used an ancient can of white primer, but it's not as rough as it looks. statuesqueminiatures.co.uk
Four grey primed cloth trow miniatures and three white primed ghost miniatures and two WIP painted cloth wolf miniatures.

Yesterday I cast the last of the minis needed for the Cloth Trows Kickstarter 🙌 If you're a backer for the metal minis and you haven't done so already, check the latest KS update to see what you have to do next. I'll be packing orders soon. They're also up for preorder! statuesqueminiatures.co.uk

One trow has their arms folded over a walking stick, the others are holding crooked sticks. One is waving. They have blue-grey bodies, two-tone on a pair of them, and beige faces and arms. The miniatures are painted with a speckled effect that have been applied with a toothbrush. They are stood on a slate roof tile and there are sparkly orange lights in the dark background.

The cloth trows are finally enjoying their very own scenic (mini) muffin in their very own dome on the shelf of many domes. Really enjoyed making it. Cloth trow minis from here: kickstarter.com/projects/statuesque/cloth-trows

Ok now I'm just messing about and need to leave the scenic muffin alone. I've used sepia and yellow inks mixed with thin matt varnish to tint the flock. The yellow is less vibrant in reality and will likely dry more subtle. Maybe? No idea 🤷 kickstarter.com/projects/statuesque/cloth-trows

Well all that glue is going to take a very long time to dry. The cloth trows will just have to wait for their scenic muffin. It was very peaceful flocking the flock and tufting the tufts though. While we wait, check out the Cloth Trows Kickstarter! kickstarter.com/projects/statuesque/cloth-trows

With morning eyes, I see I didn't do a great job positioning everyone on the scenic muffin. The elder trow is very close to the front and there's a lot of space at the back. It's like the elder trow is going to tap on the glass to be let out. kickstarter.com/projects/statuesque/cloth-trows

I've plucked at it with tweezers and scraped at it with a pokey thing. I've glued some cork debris to build certain parts up, too. I'll have my tea then have another look at it. Some adjustments needed to the taper, I think. kickstarter.com/projects/statuesque/cloth-trows

The basic form is done, now I just need to make it look, you know, good. And it needs to fit in the dome, which it currently doesn't. I might add another layer on the bottom but that depends how it looks inside the dome. kickstarter.com/projects/statuesque/cloth-trows

A scenic macaroon (for the ghosts) and a scenic biscuit (for the cloth wolves). So you know what I mean. The wolves will be very upset as they've been waiting years to be upgraded to a scenic muffin. They're so cramped.

I want to make a scenic muffin for the painted trows so they fill their dome a bit better. I'll probably use the wee dome, so it'll only be a mini-muffin. But not small enough to be classed as a scenic macaroon or scenic biscuit. kickstarter.com/projects/statuesque/cloth-trows
