Being a pessimist means your brain is great at spotting problems, but not so great at seeing the good. That’s a habit, not a fact. Practice allowing yourself to imagine good things, even if it feels awkward at first.

What I love about the LLM cli tool is how easily you can compare prompts across different models. No switching tabs - just run everything directly in the terminal and see which model performs best.

I'm about to rebrand all my cron jobs to AI agents and raise a $100,000,000 seed round.

Positive thinking is a habit, not a mood. The more you practice it, the easier it gets to see the good, even in tough situations.

The only way to get my Fitbit to recognize steps on the walking pad while working is by putting it in my ankle. Loving the standing desk and walking pad combo. I feel more productive.

When you stop holding onto everything, the important things get sharper. Letting go clears the fog and sharpens your focus.

Remember that experiment of using @flox.dev to replace Homebrew? Now it's official. flox.dev/docs/tutoria...
Homebrew migration guide

Flox is an environment and package manager all in one. Using Flox, you can create discrete environments containing packages from the Flox Catalog.

Flox can replace Homebrew entirely, or they can be used together.

This guide explains how to introduce Flox into environments where Homebrew is currently being used, either as a replacement or an addition. It introduces new concepts and proposes a basic procedure for mapping packages.

I love to build and create, but my last product showed me just how much I didn’t understand marketing. Now, I’m building a tool to help me and maybe others connect those dots.

So many new tools to make building easier than ever, but the clock hasn’t changed. As a solo builder, time - not tools - is the real limitation.

Inspiration is hard because it’s not always there. Discipline though, is like a muscle, you can train and develop it. The more you consciously challenge it, the stronger it gets, and with it, motivation follows.

If you’re not the smartest in the room, you’re in the right room. That’s where growth happens - when you’re surrounded by people who inspire you to level up.

You can be a beginner at one thing and an expert in another. The two aren’t mutually exclusive, usually, one helps shape how you approach the other.

A mistake I’ve made in the past: not deploying my application fast enough. Spending too much time working locally before setting up in the cloud just creates extra work later. Deploying early highlights issues and sets you up to move faster. (1/4) #buildinpublic

At a big company, you’re part of a machine. When you’re building scrappy, you are the machine. The hardest part? Figuring out what to focus on when everything feels important.

Visual prompt injection refers to the technique where malicious instructions are embedded within an image. When a model with image processing capabilities, such as GPT-V4, is asked to interpret or describe that image, it might act on those embedded instructions in unintended ways. #ML #AI #LLM

Starting with no familiarity is humbling. You don’t even have an opinion because you don’t know enough to have one. But the more you immerse yourself, the clearer things get. Preferences emerge, and growth happens in real time.

Committed to a name! I used namelix.com to help generate it and even create a logo. It’s a pretty cool site - gives you the meaning of the name, logo inspirations you can edit, and checks domain availability on the spot. It even shows how the logo looks on swag. Super inspiring! #buildinpublic

Building an MVP is all about speed, right? But the moment you start adding defensive design - handling retries, storing partial data, managing edge cases - you realize how quickly complexity creeps in. Let’s talk trade-offs. #buildinpublic
