This week, Kerby ran some Legend in the Mist and Otherscape. McKinley also ran Otherscape but is fishing for a game of Cypher! What's everyone playing this week for #ttrpg?

K (cont.): I started with play-by-post MU*'s and wouldn't have my first in person experience until Star Wars Saga Edition with friends after high school.

K: In another timeline, D&D 3.5 would've been my first experience if my book hadn't mysteriously "disappeared" at my parents house. So instead, my first #ttrpg experience comes with Vampire the Masquerade after playing Bloodlines 4 times circa 2004.

M: Yes. The people must know about me playing D&D during a jr high production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Kids won’t understand the difference between playing dungeons and dragons in 2001 vs 2026 😆 Spring 2002 after I had seen LOTR fellowship and decided this was my whole identity now.

We're still working on stuff behind the scenes, to include a proper website, but that doesn't mean you can't get to know us! 🧵 @mckinleysayre.bsky.social + @lazyflux.bsky.social share their first rpg experiences (and we'd like to hear about yours!).

I have been listening to @oldgodspod.bsky.social nearly nonstop since I picked up the @montecookgames.com #TTRPG book at GenCon. The podcast reverberates in my West Virginia bones and that book calls to me like the literal Necronomicon. This is just the new me, I think.

Dropped by the Son of Oak booth! Big congrats to their wins! That whole family of #ttrpg are nothing but back-to-back winners.
