If they ever remaster Dragon Quest VIII (not likely) or release Dragon Quest XII (please, give me a CRUMB OF NEWS!), I'm taking every last PTO I have on the books and dropping everything to play them around the clock. Speaking this pipe dream into the universe. Perhaps in vain. But still.

I'm preparing an anime figure display comprising my magical girl figures. I only own magical girl figures for two series, ones my employer has licensed. This means my display cabinet will be full of The Demon Girl Next Door and... Gushing Over Magical Girls. I sense I am committing a grave sin.

For the record: No piece of hateful legislation can undo my identity. 🤍🖤💜💛

It's snowing in Houston and my husky HATES IT. Refuses to go outside. Won't touch the stuff. Looks at me like I'm a monster for suggesting he's supposed to enjoy it.

Sitting at airport gate. A parent just ran over my feet with a heavy stroller. They gave no verbal warning they needed by and power walked past/over me. Only when they felt their stroller collide did they glare and go "ExCUSE me 😡😒" like I'd somehow inconvenienced them. Bro. 😭

I moved TikTok into a completely different folder on my phone because I felt myself trying to open it out of sheer muscle memory. Now I open this app instead. Not quite the same, but it helped!

Just a reminder of some of the context around the TikTok ban: In 2020, Trump tried to ban it via executive order a couple months after K-pop fans used it to organize fake signups to Trump’s Tulsa rally, which led him to publicly overestimate how large the crowd size would be.

(*whistles the "We're Banning TikTok, Baby!" song while sliding this onto my feed, also for no reason at all*)

Happy to have connected with members of my TikTok family here. Nothing much to say besides how much I adore you. <3

I turned off motion smoothing on my parents' TV just in time for our annual viewing of Home Alone. They can't tell the difference, but I maintain I'm a holiday hero.

I did it! But I chose the lost low-effort version of the redo possible. Still feels like a nice refresh, though!

I'm thinking of redoing/rearranging my office, but it would be an ENORMOUS endeavor and I'm not sure if it's worth the time and effort.
