The Mimikyu video is officially set to drop tomorrow and I'm SO excited! It's still baffling to think that journey is set (and that I can clear so much space from my computer now oh my days), but I'm looking forward to keeping that journey close to my heart forevermore <3

This month’s streams/shiny hunts are dedicated to one of my favorite causes @pkmnpride.tv and that continues later today at 12:30PM (EDT). I would so enjoy having any/all who can be there 💜 Happy Pride!

Since I imagine the next encounter milestone I’d hit is double odds, I did think it was nifty to breach 100,000 encounters (so far) for this Mimikyu hunt. The goal is still set to find this before the end of June, but goodness knows only time will be the one to tell

Displaying the phases/encounters for shiny Mimikyu (so far. Hasn’t been found yet). Over 100 thousand encounters with 25 phases done, who can say how many more are in store?

And so it begins… Phase 1 for Drampa is this ice-armored Glalie! 1403 encounters, with a mean winning streak and the adamant nature to track down a certain PAC-MAN. It’s one of the simpler changes for a shiny, but I’ve always been a fan of the eyes. There’s something about aesthetic changes…

I was thinking to myself the other day that the naming scheme for Glalie would start with the four ghosts from PAC-MAN. It just felt…fitting, since I associate the mega especially with that gaming guy. Blinky is the name of the red ghost, and between the eyes and Valentine’s Day (Happy Valentine’s Day!) I thought it would make the most sense to start there.

Blinky is Adamant and hates to lose, so I definitely wouldn’t want to be in a labyrinth with him hunting me down. The ability being inner focus only sells it more, honestly.

I am so THRILLED to be able to hunt Ultra Beasts! Xurkitree sits (trots?) kindly with me after a measly 1779 resets. This is Waltz! Sassy and mischievous and that beautiful shade of blue strikes with no sign or want of reprieve. They do the wave dance move when they’re happy and light up any room.

I. Cannot. BELIEVE this actually happened. It’s one of those things that I thought would be a joke at most— if I find one of these targets offline, I’d go live right away. But sure enough when I was thinking of calling it a night, Vulcan decides to shine after 13832 encounters. HE’S MY NATURE!!!

Somewhat vain and timid, and the first of the dragons appears. After two Charjabug, two Graveler, a Mudbray, Dedenne, Togedemaru, and Torkoal…40340 encounters total for the hunt…and caught in my one and only Friend Ball. Vulcan, I love you so so much. Thank you for this journey, and thank you for being a memorable final team member for the Ultra Sun team. First of the Trio DTQs to be set!

Shiny Cranidos found in Brilliant Diamond! This was a hunt I started sometime last year, but took a major break up until fossil week this year. It’s been on and off, but I believe I was still under odds? I wasn’t counting all of them for this one, admittedly

Rash Shiny Cranidos capable of taking hits~ named Blais after the fact (something from my game/book universe. hehe). I was hopeful that all my time spent collecting the 20 fossils would prove worth it and that the shiny would appear in the second half— I got my wish ❤️

Me and my excellent picture taking skills~ This is Zeona, a lonely (not anymore) Ho-Oh with good perseverance being caught with a Master Ball. I admittedly went into this hunt with that intention— a measly 2170 SRs later makes it true. Such a cool find for this Spooky Season

Named after something from my in-progress game/book universe— I love the gold and silver for Ho-Oh. I noticed it straight away coming across the screen, and still am in disbelief. I did try a Fast and Lure Ball for fun, but I mainly wanted to bring her home

I feel like I have entered a world formed of shock and pure imagination and dreams. Between getting female Salandit last night and THEN getting this guy with no phases? Not to mention I was ten encounters away from calling it a night. 7520 for my beautiful Sandygast

So I’m a bit…in awe. Trying to do runs for Lunala in DAs at the moment, 2/3 games I’m playing with a the 1/300 odds. And on one of those games I get 2 shinies in one run— HELLO? This is a first and I’m just as upset about it as I thought I’d be lol

Golurk is Naive and mischievous (and off to have their freedom)

Hatterene is Careful and alert to sounds!
I chose her because I already found a Golurk in ScarVi, but I’ll likely do a full odds hunt for it at some point…so so pretty. I love getting to call her my friend— but what do you MEAN I actually got 2 in 1 run? It’s one of those things I just thought would happen to other people

Phase 1 for Female Salandit and Cubone is this beautiful baby bird. Phoenix is quiet and loves to eat, got caught in the second dive ball, and appeared after 6763 encounters. I’d like to imagine she’s a telling sign for cute charm working in a coming (soon) phase, but only time will tell ✨

Quiet female shiny Fletchling with the Big Pecks ability! Phoenix loves to eat (you and me both) and got caught in a dive ball for the fun of it. I love the baby bird 🧡

66 encounters in today 9290 encounters for the phase 36885 for the hunt for Dewider (for a grand total of 8 shinies) This Hardy little bug arrives 💜❤️ Was of course on the DS with the incorrect date because of Dewpider only showing up during the Day, but that’s quite alright. Love the time traveler ✨

Shiny Dewpider named Parker, had the Mystic Water item! He’s hardy and likes to run, I love him so very much. Another target for the bingo and for the Trio DTQ!

What. Phase 7 for Dewpider is another Psyduck with Damp. That’s three in a row (at least this one is on the second game) but I think with this one I have all the ducks in a row! Surely! But this is Perry the Bashful Platypus that enjoys thrashing about with an evil pharmacist or…something.

Shiny Psyduck, Bashful Nature, Likes to thrash about and has damp as an ability. Yes this is the third one in a row. No I don’t know what’s happening.

And Phase 6 is another Psyduck! Brave and with a sturdy body, Larkspur makes his arrival after 3345 REs. Apparently this hunt likes to bring pairs in Ultra Moon. First the Paras siblings, and now the lovely Psyducklings. Some may even argue they’re platypi…

Phase 5 is a Timid (my nature!) Psyduck who is proud of her power. 1265 REs since the last Paras, and this officially makes it so I have everything on Brooklet Hill…except the Dewpider! I love this beautiful blue duck. She has Damp, which is pretty cool for any potential future hunts of interest. ✨

Shiny Psyduck named Orchid! Timid, Proud of her power, and apparently at level 16 Psyduck have 4096 EXP. Pretty goofy
