Also, DO NOT accept these kinda offers. If someone DMs you trying to sell a commission to you, it's a fucking scam. Block them and do not even entertain the conversation. Most are bots and it is just a waste of time.

Reminder to new/small artists, DO NOT go into DMs to ask for commissions btw. It will read as a scam and is going to overall hurt your business. Post to public socials, let people looking find you. Do not go seeking out people, it's a bad practice.

I am so tired of scammers on Discord trying to sell me commissions..... It's the stupidest thing to do, cause it gets obvious quickly. And it just is annoying, and trying to report them does absolutely jack shit.

we should do art memes where artists share an unfinished sketch and then challenge other artists to finish the piece in their interpretation and then after x amount of time the finished version gets uploaded and there's many different versions built on the same sketch

'get in loser we're living past the end of our myth'

'my suffering isnt beautiful'
'but your survival is'

'oh and that gap in my resume is when i was digging my own grave'
'the dirt under my nails is - yeah. it won't wash out. although that's actually from when i dug myself out again. i suppose success and defeat can look the same in a mirror.'

'sometimes the moral of the story really is just "you cannot go back and what happened to you is going to be with you for the rest of your life. but it's still going to be okay" huh'

...traits directly without making any personal alterations is not okay! I do not allow my designs to be Frankenstein-ed together. Do not just take traits 1:1. The idea can inspire it, but do not just recolor and mash my designs together. Add your own twist and flair to it.

Because this needs to be reiterated, DO NOT COPY DESIGNS I HAVE MADE. Adopts, personal designs, bases. Please DO NOT just copy them. Base & Adopts TOS have that as a blacklist/ban offense. For personal designs I do not mind poses & colors being referenced. As I do not own those. But taking....

Use reference. I’m serious. I get it that somehow you or someone convinced you that using reference is “cheating.” It’s not. You are just hindering yourself.

Yes! At first glace it genuinely looks exactly the same. The copying the handwriting is creepy af!

Idk if i saw the copy at all, but i can recognize Jeje's from miles away. Seems weird to try to mimic such a distinct style.

100

I've had to deal with similar issues. Like I personally don't mind referencing poses but when I'm seeing designs that look identical or are just recoloring the design it gets pretty creepy fast.
