I'm thrilled that I was able to answer "I'm at soup!" during a phone call at a grocery store. I was, quite literally, at soup when getting asked "Where are you?"

Scored a Corsair mechanical gaming keyboard the other day at my local thrift store for just a couple dollars! Yippee!

I feel like I’m preferring frog kicks a lot more than the ol’ scissor kicks - less ankle tendon strain and more propulsion per cycle! Also more solid for navigation purposes!

Went for a dip at the beach today. It was full of weeds and low visibility overall.

My therapist suggested that I get an emotional support animal. I got a chicken. It came in a bucket with a side of mashed potatoes and a large sweet tea. I feel better already.

Thank goodness the quasi-random tweaks I applied to the BIOS settings managed to help the system get back on its feet! GHz level CPU speeds have returned!

Oh my. The main PC’s 7800X3D is throttling down to 400-500 Mhz instead of running at its usual 4-5 Ghz… Better reset to factory default settings everywhere! 😭🫠

I didn't think Oracle would enshittify MySQL so badly, since they've generally been doing an okay job of keeping it alive... but... here we are! A world where the first-party "MySQL Workbench" has been abandoned and become something that no longer keeps up with the current editions of MySQL. /sigh

There's something a bit odd with the AMD AM5 platform that I don't fully grasp... as if... setting up the BIOS to enable "allow boost" is more akin to "allow chilling out and allow boosting as-needed". I thought disallowing boost meant "you will only run at minimum power". Strange phrasings?
