#Ghoap #SoapGhost Simon who hasn't been in many relationships, but the few he had, he's an amazing boyfriend. Seeing the way his father treated his mum made him determined to be the complete opposite. --

The winner of the Yaoi Ship poll is: Sheith! I’m really happy that this pairing has received so much love—honestly, I didn’t expect it. Thank you! I love drawing Keith and Shiro, I hope I managed to capture this intimate moment between battles in space. #sheith #vld #boyslove #lgbtq

I'm using duck duck go search with their "no AI" browser extension (they built an extension instead of just letting us opt out 🙄), but I'd love to find an alternative for that as well.

Starlight @starlightvld.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

I've been using waterfox as a secondary mobile browser to Firefox (after deleting DuckDuckGo browser for the same "pushing AI" crap), and it seems solid so far! I might make it my main and try out Vivaldi as the secondary.

We don't need a *less* well-researched video because they were too busy trying to figure out how to get their sponsor in the video without getting caught. 🤦

110

Starlight @starlightvld.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Honestly, it would be sort of funny to see how creative they could get with it. But is that what we want people focusing on? How to get around bans? We have enough ridiculousness with cutsie words for serious subjects due to people trying to get around social media bans. +

210

Starlight @starlightvld.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Yes to all this. And I don't see how it could hold up in court. They aren't *YouTube's* ads. All they're doing is potentially screwing over the creators when this results in YT banning sponsorships. We'll go back to blatant product placement in videos like we had in 80s and 90s movies, I guess?

110

Starlight @starlightvld.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Can you imagine the outcry if YouTube actually cut sections of people's videos? And they'd do it with AI, so you'd miss half the relevant info in the video, too. Who thinks this would even be a desirable feature? They could just not watch videos with sponsors if they don't want to see them?

I definitely go through cycles of heavy productivity followed by what feels like burn out. I was really sad that the 10 year anniversary ending up being during my current slump. I don't really have any advice, but I can certainly commiserate. 🫂❤️
