People say Birmingham is a shithole, but I think it’s still lovable. She wears flower pots like jewellery and street art makeup. Today she was dressed in a clear blue sky. Blue really brings out her architecture and makes her low-flying planes pop.

Found this beautiful little one on the floor of the greenhouse. I don’t think it’ll live very long, one (or 2?) or its legs are missing, and I think one of its eyes are damaged? But I hope it’s at least a bit happier on this flower…

Butterflies always look so curious to me. This fly caught my eye too. Usually my bug hunts are more diverse but I haven’t seen many beetles around recently. I hope they’re all ok. Just hiding?

The butterflies were not very co-operative today. I think they were luring me into the sun, trying to kill me. I still love them though. As well as these I saw a marbled white and some ringlets.
