I'm having trouble finding the citation, but there was a recent meta-analysis study of states with vs without legalized gambling. States with it have much, much higher rates of divorce, bankruptcy, DV, and poverty. That's not an engine I think you should feed, even a little bit.

I thought the finale of SNW S4 was enjoyable. I'm not sure I agree with the opinions that it's the most original episode in years - Doctor Who's 50th used a few VERY similar concepts, including one that was almost identical - but it was a good watch. Also THE LA'AN REACTION DOES NOT SPARK JOY.
