Incredible that American anti-war activists* invented things and said that the US government was doing them and then now we have the US government saying "that's cool and we can** and should do it actually" *lyndon larouche ** this is an advanced tactic known as "lying"
a headline from Le Monde saying "US ambassador's interventions in Greece spark controversy in Bucharest and Athens - According to revelations by the 'Wall Street Journal,' Kimberly Guilfoyle would not hesitate to threaten toppling governments to promote sales of American liquefied natural gas.""with the Greek energy minister, Stavros Papastavrou. While the WSJ did not specify the reason, the ambassador reportedly mentioned the imminent fall of the Romanian government and said, "We can do that to any country we want. We can do it here." Papastavrou is said to have replied that the US could not replace the democratically elected Greek government. Guilfoyle's lawyer has disputed this"

"If a story is “iddy” or “hits you in the id,” it’s an especially soothing, comforting, self-indulgent story, kind of like what you might imagine before going to sleep. It feels like the story is made for you and activates exactly the kinds of things that make you go wild for fiction. These things can often be sexual but they don’t have to be — things like power or competence fantasies can be very iddy; extremely close, all-consuming, ride-or-die friendships in fiction can be very similar, activating a lot of strong emotions; fiction featuring dramatic plot twists and nests of cunning vipers constantly scheming and backstabbing each other can be very iddy; cozy feel-good reality shows about cooking food or finding the right dress, or repetitive, formulaic mystery serials can be iddy."

Ralph Nader, consumer activist extraordinaire.
If he hadn't run for president in 2000 under the Green Party, then of the fifty thousand votes in Florida that went his way some might've gone to Al Gore.

Oh no solid modernity’s happening again
Chris Beauchamp, chief market analyst at trading platform IG, said investors were becoming increasingly concerned about the economic impact of higher oil prices.
"It feels like investors worldwide are now waking up to the crisis in oil markets," Beauchamp said. He warned that the surge in energy prices could weigh heavily on the global economy if it continues.
Concerns have also grown after Iran-aligned Houthi forces were reported to have seized Yemen's port of Mokha, a key Red Sea port.

Well, the problem here was a wage disparity between North and South. The average farmer in the North earned twice as much as a (white) farmer in the South. Black farmers, of course, didn't get paid anything most of the time. If they were paid fairly, then that would mean the cost of the cotton input
A map of GDP per capita of the USA in 1872. The Northeast, California and Midwest are coated in various shades of orange, signifying the great wealth of the area, however the south is mostly white, meaning it has a gdp per capita of less than $300.

As it turns out, this isn't just a Rowling thing. The desire to make overly broad, frankly racist classifications of countries into civilisations based on vibes is an infectious disease. Can you tell which one is J.K.'s and which one is made by a serious (white) scholar of international relations?
It's the world according to Samuel P. Huntingdon's stupid fucking racist book "The Clash of Civilisations."
There are 9 civilisations: Western, who occupy Europe (up to the Ukrainian and Balkan borders), Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, parts of the Phillipines and North America (north of Galveston.)
- Latin American, exists in the Americas south of Galveston, except the Guianas.
- African, which only goes up as far as the Sahel and the East Coast
- Islamic, which includes most of the world's Muslim majority areas (but not Bosnia)
- Orthodox, which covers South and Eastern Europe, Russia, half the Caucasus and Kazakhstan
- Sinic, which is China, Korea and Vietnam
- Hindu, which is just India
- Buddhist, which occupies Tibet, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Mongolia.
- Japanese. Guess where that one is.
All of these are so fucking dumb and make zero sense
unless you are a rushed white boy trying to make a stupid pointIt's the world according to J.K. Rowling's stupid fucking racist book "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone"
There are eleven wizarding schools
- Hogwarts, which does the British Isles
- Beauxbatons (?) - which does France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the Benelux
- Durmschang - which does Central Europe, the Balkans, the Nordics and Greenland
- Koldovstorets - which covers the former USSR
- Castelobruxo - which services Latin America except the Guyanas and Belize
- Ilvermorny - which does the US, Canada, the Guyanas and Belize
- Mauhutuoko, which does Japan
- Uagadou - which is not the capital of Burkina Faso, but a "wizarding school" for Subsaharan Africa
- Unnamed East Asian Magic School (really fukken creative there), which does China, mainland Southeast Asia and Korea
- Unnamed Middle Eastern Magic School (seriously?) which covers the lands of the Ottoman Empire under Suleiman the Magnificent plus the Horn of Africa and the Indian Subcontinent
- Unnamed Oceanian Magic School - (I'm not even going to bother here) which does Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and the Pacific Islands

All of these are so fucking dumb and make zero sense
unless you are a rushed white girl trying to make a stupid point

89% of people will believe any statistic if you say it convincingly enough
Two black people look disapprovingly at the camera while "Defund the police: opposed by 70% of voters" appears in bold impact font in the bottom left hand corner.
It's important to mention that they are AI generated, because the man on the right has the face from the John Xina meme, and the one on the left has the sort of emaciated face usually seen in areas stricken by famine. ie. Not Wisconsin.
It's quite possible the statistic was AI-generated as well.
