Submitted my first R01 (as co-PI) w/ my former mentor, now collaborator! Would not recommend having 10 days of clinical service in 3 weeks leading up to deadline but was a huge learning experience. No matter the outcome (especially w/uncertainty of NIH funding), I’m proud of what we put together.
