Older piece from last year (before I created my Bsky account) #blender #b3d #voxel

A room of mostly pink wood with a white bed, some light blue lamps, a trans flag in the background, and glasses right in front of the camera. It's morning, as indicated by the sunlight going through the window

Inspired to draw more voids after so many attendees shared photos of their cats with me at conventions this summer 🤍🐈‍⬛

Digital illustration by The Ghost Egg of a parade 5 ghosts, each with a black cat. The first cat is on a leash, the second cat is on top of the ghost’s head, the third is being held by the ghost, the fourth is clinging to the ghost’s face, and the last is pouncing on the ghost’s sheet.

"The Screamer is a jolly creature that loves yelling while chasing after shiny things." Had a lot of fun making this from the concept art @azagwen.art recently shared here! Took some artistic liberties as it doesn't seem to have made it in the Aether mod on Bedrock. #blender #b3d

Small derpy blue cube wielding a blue sword while strutting in grass that's bluish-green in color. The creature has its mouth wide-open, with buck-teeth visible. The image is in the style of a waterpainting.

I can definitely relate to that; Pokemon Emerald (totally legally obtained btw) was my first Pokemon game, but Pokemon Ultra Moon was probably when I actually started becoming more immersed in the series (Gen 7 in general has a special place in my heart).

(To elaborate on the 3DS bit: the 3DS has native backwards compatibility with the DS, which in turns has native backwards compatibility with the GBA, allowing GBA games to run natively on the 3DS) (Nintendo didn't really use it much for Virtual Console unfortunately, which is a shame)

Never did it before now. It's 9 games that "shaped me", does not mean these are all positive reviews - the last one was a real source of trauma for ME

The 9 Games That Shaped Who I Am
1. Zelda a link to the past
2. Need for speed underground
3. Super mario sunshine
4. Final fantasy III
5. Pokemon Sapphire
6. Tony Hawk's pro skater 3
7. Zelda Twilight Princess
8. Hot wheels velocity x
9. Trauma center: second opinion

Ooo Pokémon Sapphire; I remember playing Pokémon Emerald on an emulator) as a kid. Quite fun, though unfortunately I lost the save file for it though. These days I've gotten into Pokémon Emerald/Fire Red ROM hacks (right now going through Pokémon Odyssey), using a modded 3DS to run the ROMs.

Brim Hat Olruggio The last of my Brim Hat fanart series for Witch Hat Atelier! The seals around his hat are the same as the Glowstone path he invented. I also added a little flame to the inside of his hat since he specializes in fire magic~ 1/2 #witchhatatelier #Δ帽子 #WHA

This started as a single post, but to be honest, I have way too many thoughts to put on a single page, so I have some most posts planned. Stay tuned!

While the #godot road generator's RoadPoint is meant to be directionally agnostic, it does help for troubleshooting to know which was is "forward". Finally got around to implementing this little puzzle-piece motif in the gizmo itself to visually help with that - work in progress

Me when I finally run the code and it works:

000

Maryam Sheikh @standingpad.org · 19/08/2026

...simplify it to just the core logic, since a lot of the library was designed around Pandoc, so I'm going to have to poke around for a bit. On the plus side, the actual JS portion is now much smaller, so it *should* be easier to review during the clean-up phase.

Definitely need to start moving all of this to modular components, and move stuff like links to JSON (right now they're just all copy-pasted in the index.astro file...) Sidenotes are a bit more complex though... I took a library from gwern.net/static/js/si... and asked Gemini to... (1/2)

This is done with JavaScript unfortunately. However, if the browser isn't big enough (or if JS is disabled), it just reverts back to regular footnotes, so....
