I made my first citizen's arrest today. A black man had stolen a bottle of liquor from my local grocer. Two female shopkeepers run after him yelling "thief, thief". I picked him up, bent his hand behind his back, walked him back to the store, and waited until the police arrived. No-one clapped :(.

The Guardian just put together the first election results coming from Hungary. It's thus far much better than I anticipated, but less than 15% of the votes have been counted, so very few conclusions can be drawn from this.

According to Axios there is no date for the Trump-Maduro call. Officials say "no one knows what Trump intends to say, none are willing to guess, only that 'all options are on the table.'" I'm wondering how that differs from what Trump is thinking and doing about every other policy, Ukraine included?

1 of 2: Russian trolls often refer to Ukraine as "the Ukraine". The reason for the article is that it was what Ukraine (and for that matter Russia) was called when it was part of the Soviet Union. That article implies that Ukraine would not be an independent entity and an internal matter to Russia.
