It's from Myth 2, an RTS by Bungie

Maybe the real deception was the friendship we made along the way

I'm really stressed about insurance this month. I write articles as a way to earn enough to cover the bills, but last months article didn't make as much as I needed it to cause I published it mid month. docseuss.medium.com/i-completed-... If you like it, please share and tip, I need about $1200

i completed 52 games and 8 pieces of downloadable content in 2017.

In March 2018, I ended up in the ER. I had been working far, far too much and too hard and it turns out I had a congenital heart defect…

October 4 1997, Star Fox 64 debuted on the N64 in PAL territories as Lylat Wars! Besides the title change, the PAL version contains an option to not only change the language but also to change the speech to Lylat, which sounds a lot like Animal Crossing Animalese...but is actually just nonsense!

Need a good horror movie for your Friday? I put all the Mighty No 9 and Keiji Inafune videos into one convenient compilation. This is some of the best and proudest work on the channel, even if the story is heartbreaking and frustrating. Enjoy! youtu.be/qNz7x1ZxJOM

Daughter of Serpents (1992) by Eldritch Games was an adventure game with light RPG elements for MS-DOS PCs. It's the 1920s in Alexandria, Egypt, where an ancient mystery awaits! As a pre-made character or one that you create, you're soon drawn into the shadows of a forgotten past. (a Mythos thread)

EVERY Dune game EVER made

It's something that affects a lot of lower budget or older French games. I've always liked the example here at 30:55 www.youtube.com/watch?v=YISK...

Yeah, but I feel the first one is ironically, the lesser known game haha

Understandable. I'm only really still there due to the number of followers I've built up over the years

100

Yeah I've heard of Orcs and Men is the first but also the weakest game in the franchise

010

Oh! I didn't know you were on Bluesky too. Sorry, if people use different PFPs, I often forget who they are 😅

Been playing this unknown French game and it does one of my favorite things in lower budget French games: The English translation is weird while still being *technically* correct. Which means the VAs often struggle with it

So what are some of your favorite retro games for Halloween? Any interesting Horror-themed retro games?

17141

oooh okay I'll have to look in these. I'll be making short videos in the future, but I might work on this in the background

This is actually kinda genius. Where can I learn more about these and download them?

Several weeks ago, Phil Tippett's legendary animation studio in Berkeley, CA closed. An anonymous hero noticed a folder of CDs. This turned out to be hundreds of unseen hi-res images and videos from Star Wars, Robocop, Jurassic Park, etc. ~90 isos for you to browse: archive.org/details/tipp...

A casual Star Wars alien fella at the cantina, in a sun faded, reddish photo. Someone will be mad at me for not knowing who this is.

Phil, a balding Caucasian man, poses a model of the garthok, an antagonist from the Coneheads movie.

Phil, a balding caucasian man, points at some CG on a CRT computer monitor, as a younger man looks on. The screen shows a model of a dinosaur attacking a jeep, while there's an actual physical model of that event in the foreground for reference.

an isolated shot of a star wars vehicle. Sorry, I don't know star wars lol

I literally JUST launched my video

The Saturn outsold the N64 in my country. it even outsold the PS1 for the first year

the issue is the modern winners dictate the past. I've seen people online shocked when they hear the GameCube flopped. the switch is so successful that it's retroactively changing the PS2 generation
