One thing I like about Deltarune usually looking very simplistic is that it allows it to occasionally have high quality animations that just wouldn’t hit the same if the game was 100% uniform. That can be used for comedy (Flowery’s intro, Tenna’s whole thing) or drama/horror (the titan’s hand)
