My three heart surgeries combined totaled over $1.3 million. And two of those were in the early 80’s. And somehow my state Medicaid will survive another year despite the government’s attempt to take that away too. I fucking hate this country

Between that insurance and my work covered insurance (that is also probably ending) that’s an expense of $18,000 just to get the healthcare coverage I need. Thankful my parents cover the private insurance for both myself and brother. But holy fuck this country is so broken

It is October 13th and I literally just got a letter from my private health insurance I’ve had for over 25 years that it is ending. The letter was mailed September 29th
