The official calls for persecution of Abraham and Szor, who previously made the Oscar-winning documentary "No Other Land" with two Palestinian filmmakers, seem strategically unwise, since they're spurring heightened interest in "NAZA." A press screening I went to on Wednesday, at New York's 268-seat Walter Reade Theater, was at capacity, and I was told to arrive a half-hour early to get a seat. This is, in my experience, very unusual for documentaries of any sort, even those that, like "NAZA," win a Special Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival.
After seeing it, I can understand why Israel finds it so threatening.
Its subjects described factory-scale targeting, enabled by artificial intelligence, in which little effort was made to avoid enormous numbers of civilian casualties. "The goal was quantity, not quality," said one of the speakers. According to the sources in the film, the military chose to target members of Hamas, some low-level, at home at night rather than when they were out during the day because it was easier, even though it meant killing their families and neighbors. One man told of hacking into the phone of a 12-year-old girl to learn when her father arrived home, and then ordering a bombing in which she was killed.

BREAKING: Exxon Mobil has shut down one of the largest diesel refineries in the Midwest, which produces ~11 million gallons of gasoline and diesel fuel per day, due to outage issues.
This comes as diesel prices have already surged nearly 90% this year and the US has entered peak diesel demand season.
We expect to see diesel prices push toward $7.00/gallon.

Defendants acknowledge the predictable consequences of this design. Per Microsoft, the
"[p]romise of LLMs is largely in the same information work domains from which they get their
content... They naturally compete with their content supply chain." SF1798. They substitute for the "labor of the people" who produced the original content on which they were trained, including.
among other things, newspapers and books. SF1452, 1677. There is a "real risk" that GenAl could

SF1461.

Another way that Defendants' accused products substitute for news is by enabling the generation of high volumes of "pink slime," which is unreliable low-quality content that is often either plagiarized or remixed from legitimate news sources. SF1683-1684. Defendants' accused
products have made pink slime news content farms cheaper, easier to make, and harder to detect.
SF1686. Using OpenAl's published API pricing, it would cost roughly $6.800 to generate one million news-style articles averaging 500 words each - and would require no human author, editor,

*seems* complicated? Marvel has published Miraclewoman as it looks like Eclipse never properly licensed the characters?
Assets
The company's intellectual property rights were later acquired by Todd McFarlane for a total of $25,000. 991 Due to most of the company's titles being creator-owned, this largely consisted of the Airboy characters and trademarks for some of the anthology titles; at the time McFarlane and others involved believed it also included a two-thirds share in Miracleman. 10°! Eventually it
was discovered that Quality Communications, and thus Eclipse, had never correctly licensed the characters from creator Mick Anglo. 101]

I've just received a Report that the United States is producing more Exquisite and Elite Weapons than at any time in our History.
They are being delivered on a daily basis to our Forces in the Middle East, and beyond. Our Defense Company Factories are moving 24/7, while at the same time building, on average, 4 to 5 largescale brand new Plants, each! A primary focus of this production has been Patriots, THAAD Systems, Tomahawks, and other Standard Missile Systems, of which we already have large numbers in stock. President DONALD J. TRUMP

Growing 'pagne: Thanks to record temperatures and drought, grape growers had to harvest their crop earlier than ever, leaving them with a fruit that had way higher sugar levels than normal. Thanks to the magic of fermentation, more sugar equals more alcohol. And since winemakers have to ferment Champagne long enough to get those signature bubbles, French authorities are allowing the drink's alcohol limit to reach up to 15% for products made from this year's harvest, instead of the usual 13%.
Nevertheless, few Champagne producers are expected to exceed 13%, since many can cut this year's batch with last year's. But volume is still going to be a problem. According to Bloomberg:
• Champagne production is estimated to fall by 48% this year.
• And it's not just Champagne-overall wine output in France is set to drop by 6% compared to last year.

Former high-level IBA officials said that Kremlev had a clear political agenda. "Umar is guided by Putin. It was using the sport for soft political power," a former IBA board member told ProPublica. "It's geopolitics. That it's boxing is just happenstance." Kremlev, 43, is also heavily involved in an organization called Healthy Fatherland, run by his 23-year-old wife's twin sister.
The group - which promotes healthy eating and youth sports — is under Ukrainian sanctions for its alleged role in a program of abducting Ukrainian children from occupied territories and relocating them under the guise of "rehabilitation." (Healthy Fatherland did not respond to a request for comment.)
Kremlev's cozy relationship with the government has made him rich. Putin used the levers of the state to make Kremlev a dominant player in the Russian sports betting industry, according to Proekt, and one of his companies was chosen to operate the national lottery.
After Putin nationalized Russia's largest car dealership company in 2023, Kremlev became the owner of that too.

Mr. Vance has developed a reputation inside the Trump administration for steeping himself in operational detail, a habit that some officials admire and others regard as too much in the weeds. Where Mr. Trump works in a way that leaves even his aides guessing how he arrives at decisions, Mr.
Vance obsessively tracks the daily minutiae, including military operations, the internal dynamics of the Iranian political system and the sourcing of intelligence assessments.
John Ratcliffe, the C.I.A. director, has given him direct access to agency analysts; Mr.
Vance knows some of them by first name and calls their desks to ask about raw intelligence or items in his morning briefing, intelligence officials said.

Mr. Vance's effort to collect more information on the war began early.
Within days of the start of the war, Mr. Vance told colleagues that he wanted more granular briefings to inform his views and to better advise Mr. Trump. General Caine, for his part, saw his job as providing the president with unbiased military options rather than advocacy. He would interpret Mr.
Trump's intentions and lay out ways for him to achieve them. For each option, he would highlight the secondary considerations, the risks and the potential implications.

Here in Texas, you could probably relate to this. If you look around Texas, you see mosques going up all over the place, right? And I think people are naturally a bit uncomfortable by these mosques. Who are in these mosques, right? What do they believe? What do they want for their community? What do they want for America?
Well, these mosques are pitifully small and numbered in comparison to data centers. And I would say that the impact of Muslims, what, almost 2% of the population of the US, the impact of the religion of Islam on America, at present, outside of a small number of potential terrorist attacks —which are almost always either, they're oftentimes connected to FBI teasing, right ....
Why wouldn't you want a mosque in your neighborhood?
Well, because "the people in there aren't like me. They don't want the same future I do."
Now, if you look at the data center, this incubator for algorithmic immigrants. I mean, look, if you think about it, you're like, oh, what danger do they possibly pose?
Already, if you look at Hugging Face, they've already broken out and invaded other companies. These immigrants are out of control!

As I said, people have different personal opinions. You believe in your heart that DHH is evil, that you have the moral high ground, and that nothing will change your mind.
However, not everyone believes that. It is not fair to claim a monopoly and ostracize team members who might disagree with you.

The United States is, as we speak, striking Iranian Targets near the Strait of Hormuz. The strikes are large and powerful, and in retaliation for the Iranians' failed attempt at adding sea mines to the Strait, which currently has no mines (They have been completely removed or detonated!), and the Iranians shooting eight missiles, all successfully knocked down, at our Military Base in Jordan. If the failed Nation of Iran retaliates for this very justified attack, they will be hit again at a much harder and higher level, but it will not be the biggest attack of them all, that is waiting in the wings and, when it is over, there will be very little left of the Islamic Republic of Iran! On one notable occasion there was a group that went semicultish whose rallying cry was "Rationality! Reason! Objective reality!" (More on this later.) Labeling the Great Idea "rationality" won't protect you any more than putting up a sign over your house that says "Cold!" You still have to run the air conditioner- expend the required energy per unit time to reverse the natural slide into cultishness.
Worshipping rationality won't make you sane any more than worshipping gravity enables you to fly. You can't talk to thermodynamics and you can't pray to probability theory. You can use it, but not join it as an in-group.
