I've been having fun making magnets! Even if it's a bit tough for my little laser to cut these, I love how they turn out every time 😊 All made from 3mm plywood and unwanted trading cards or packaging. All available on my site!

Having taken some time to myself, it's time to start updating my shop! First to hit the site, the 'Trash to Treasure' range! Idk if I'll keep the name, but I hate naming stuff and these are made using TCG trash so 🤷‍♀️

New TCG magnets! I've wanted to do these for ages but my first ideas involved resin and they never really went according to plan. (Poor Zorua.) But with the laser I can cut my own frames and turns out they don't need a resin layer to look great! Made with discarded, damaged or fake cards.

I bought a set of Lilo & Stitch toys a while ago, and while most of them were of everyone's favourite not-dog, there was one Lilo. And I finally got to use her for something!

My first test using proper wood for these keychains is done! Two pieces of 3mm ply come together to make a nice, chunky charm. Need to figure out what fittings to use with it now. The back is currently blank, and I can't decide whether to leave it or engrave something like a pokedex entry on it 🤔

I wasn't sure if the base on this was ever going to set, but I've finally been able to finish it! I originally had a different idea for this, but once I saw how well the bushes matched the pecha berry, Pikachu was the obvious choice!

Y'know how I mentioned science the other day? This was my other test project - another iteration on the Trash Coaster. These use old dividers you get in Pokemon ETBs. I'm still learning when it comes to resin, so these aren't great, but as a proof of concept, I'm super happy!

It's been a day for SCIENCE. I've had a resin curing machine and vacuum pot for months now, but no time to test them. Until now! The resin handled degassing well and cured super quick! And now I have some cute pawprints to turn into keyrings ☺️

As someone who opens a lot of Pokemon cards, I generate a lot of trash. So, I thought I'd experiment with upcycling some of it. My first coaster test was a success! Now I can try one with a bit of colour and actually cut the pack art properly!

Still buzzing from EUIC so I've put that buzz to work and made mockups of some of my Trainer Card formats to see if they'll work. I had to use the two incredible trainers from the VGC Masters final for these & I love how this proof of concept turned out! Now to make the designs a bit more finished!

Finally got some time this evening to try out another idea I've had brewing for a while. Little magnets or keyrings showing off Pokemon TCG art! I have so many bulk cards, I figured this would be a fun use for them. Dimensions need tweaking slightly, then I can try them in wood. 🤔

I like to give my Pokemon coin magnets a bit of time in direct sunlight (or whatever the equivalent is in a dreary British winter) to make sure they're super set before I pack them away. Plus, it's really fun to see the current batch all up on display together!
