Made some upgrades to my desk recently. New keyboard, with custom keycaps, new vertical ergo mouse with a sensor good enough for fps games. And I’m finally ditching my 1080p dual monitor setup for a single 1440p ultrawide tandem oled. I need a bigger desk, lol.

I have fallen down a new money pit. I've long had an itch to build a sim racing set up, but never really justified it as the entry level stuff was fine but not that impressive and the high end stuff was way too expensive. Moza R5 is a good price/performance sweet spot.

Little kitty is getting so big so quickly! The last of her baby teeth fell out last week. She’s in her terrible teenager stage now: getting into everything she knows she’s not supposed to get into, testing limits and pushing boundaries and really trying my patience. Still the best kitty ever though.

I made Oklahoma fried onion burgers for dinner the other night. Cut the first onion a bit too thick on the mandoline, but still turned out amazing. Griddle + induction = super easy time cooking multiple burgers at once.

My new toy arrived tonight, a Dingwall D-Roc Standard, all the way from Quebec. It spent the past week on a truck so I don’t want to open it up until it can naturally warm up over the next day or so to minimize the risk of the wood getting warped. The wait is agonizing.

My bass board is more or less done. A few things I’d like to swap out but everything sounds great as is. Still playing with where everything goes in the chain but this works for now. More pedals than some guitar players but it lets me make all kinds of different sounds at home.

Grey skinned lead belchers! I’ve never really been happy with this recipe but can’t pin point what I don’t like about it.

Orange chocolate chip banana bread. It was delicious! Recipe: bittmanproject.com/recipe/banan... & follow the Banana Bread with Chocolate and Orange variation (I used a cup of dark chocolate chips in mine.) Glaze is a cup of powdered sugar with a couple tablespoons of juice from the zested orange.

I think I’ve finally perfected my cast iron pizza process. I tried a new dough recipe, changed up my sauce recipe a bit, and changed my cooking method. The only thing wrong with this pizza is the pepperoni I got was kinda mid.

State of the board: I've been building myself a bass rig the last few months. Slowly collecting an assortment of pedals and doodads. Some were purchased (or I was gifted) with the intent they'd be for my guitar but they all sound great on bass too. Except for the tube screamer, it knows what it did.

New pedal day! We went to the End Times Garage Sale at Heritage Hall in East Van earlier today. I wasn’t planning on buying a pedal but things were out of my control…
