Shocked--SHOCKED I say--at your not having seen Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein, Jay comparing ST:TNG to Saved by the Bell the College Years(after not seeing a single ep!), and not recognizing the name Richard Matheson (I am Legend, Twilight zone eps)! Cool find during my Southern-Fried Gaming Expo event this past weekend. During setup, I look in the huge open dumpster by the loading dock and see REAMS of original blueprints for the recently-demo'd Galleria Mall in ATL. Now I'm the owner of the Namco Cyberstation arcade blueprints.

I can't tell you how often a throwaway line in a movie or show becomes part of my wife and I's daily vernacular. "They were cones!" being one of them. The Wedding Singer was one of like 6 VHS tapes she owned in college and we watched repeatedly.

Facade of my former mall arcade, Daimond Jim's in Metro Center Mall in Jackson, MS. I played many a Bad Dudes games and lost tons of tokens to quarter pushers in that place (which was immediately behind a Sbarro pizza where an employee told me I was a Pugsley-ass lookin' kid. 5 stars, no notes)

I never minded those. I actually get excited to go to my kid's high school football games (band dad) on Friday nights in the fall to eat "perfectly mediocre" concessions stand burgers. Are they good? No, but in the right time/place they're exquisite!
