Also, I think I remember eating like a whole bag of ketchup chips the day before too, which often leave my mouth feeling quite sensitive (acid and sharp edges I guess?). So, something like that that could be a compounding factor.

Yes, I had exactly this! Not ruling out allergy out still (even for me) but it has not bothered me since. I have been buying better strawberries in general and I soak them in vinegar and water for 15 minutes beforehand (then rinse).

Right on. That's funny because I saw the big headlines about how it's not in GTA6 and laughable to suggest, but those other soundbites are pretty important! It's funny even the article is pretty dismissive about how this still ultimately doesn't effect things but I would argue it does.
