So I've played an actual V6 session now and I have to ask. Did anyone actually use social combat in 5th ed? It's my first time with it, when we checked V5 we realized the system hadn't changed much aside from the specific action examples. Did anyone actually like social combat in 5th.

We need a wave of union votes in this country. Unions aren't perfect because no human organization will ever be completely immune to corruption, but they are an important check on capitalists. Unions are one of the fetters that protect us from unfettered capitalism.

I just read the example of social combat in the V6 alpha slice and there is no world where I ever use this system in one of my campaigns. The idea that basic social interaction would force action on a PC is just absolutely not a thing I would ever run. What the hell is this?

I've put off reading the storyteller section of the V6 alpha because I have never liked WoD ST supplements and oh boy this one isn't breaking the trend. Improvements are for people who don't like the "complexity" of XP. If that's the prompt they really didn't hit that nail on the head.
