I think everyone needs a much needed break at times and to just do things that feel good for them, even if it isn't always productive. People feel like they HAVE to be productive 24/7 or else they're procrastinating and that causes shame, even though it's just not true at all.

I feel this SO much. I haven't lost interest in my hobbies, I just have no motivation to do them during this time in my life but I'll feel bad if I DON'T do them, yk? At some point those things began to feel like it was more for other people than for me because of this, if you're able to relate.

I always imagine Viktor to be super avoidant. He's afraid that by letting himself get close to Jayce again, by letting himself love him the way he did those years ago, he will only get hurt again. Which is ironic, considering that man INSISTS he removed his ability to feel any emotion.

Finna, The Four Profound Weaves, The Priory of the Orange Tree, Gideon the Ninth and Vicious (by V.E. Schwab). A few of these do include romance because unfortunately it's difficult to find fantasy novels, especially queer ones, that don't, but they aren't the main focus. I highly recommend Gideon
