This is our dog, a dumped as a puppy somewhere in the middle of nowhere. She sniffed us out! So of course we kept her. She's a huge dog with a big heart.

This one was a dumped puppy. Someone I'd happily douse with rotten tomatoes put her in the middle of nowhere & she sniffed out a couple of suckers. We were 2 old for a puppy, had 3 dogs & 9 cats, tried to find her a home. No one wanted her. Here she is 12 yrs later, sweet, loves cats, a great dog!

This was a dumped puppy who wandered down our dirt road until that hound nose sniffed us out. We had 3 dogs & 9 cats so we tried to find a home 4 her. No one wanted a little puppy with huge feet. We ended up with a sweet tempered, yet protective monster, now 12 yrs old & consider ourselves lucky.

This is one I did before my arthritis got bad...which was when I was young! I copied some 'early American' designs. I can still do hand sewing, but it hurts, so I avoid it when possible...

The things from reclaimed pine sound nice! This is a piece from hubby's great great grandparents. It's got the original glass in the top. I try to protect it everytime we move and go through agonies it will break, but so far it's come through without a scratch. The chair belonged 2 my grandmother.

So sorry! Such a gorgeous cat! Same with this dear little stray. He had FIP. We didn't know and months passed before he got tame enough to trust us and go to the doctor. By then it was too late.

Gorgeous. They thrive on benign neglect! Mine didn't bloom much this year. I'm fertilizing them & hope I won't kill them. My house is small except 4 the huge garage. Not complaining! We needed a location & got lucky. Note a new and yet to b painted bannister lol & nearly invisible geraniums!

I'm with the people who speak about scent- it's important. It's probably why my cat pulled all the clean bedding off the chair and onto the floor so he could sleep on a place he already made for himself.

Be nice to meet yr dog. My big hulk just barks her head off at everyone. She's sweet, but a great coward. When she first encountered this cat, he chased her around and she yelped. They r good friends now.

We got off luckier than some. 1 million people lost power. Then it snowed!!! More snow than I've seen in years and it's really cold. This is my patio and back steps and birds coming for seed. The cat was greatly entertained!
