Also, I found out fast "malfoid" incorporates incel slang. You can just make your own, ya'll. You don't need to hop on a trend.

A screenshot of a quick google search asking what "foid" stands for. The results all point to it being a term made by incels meant to act as a slur.

I think someone has already done this before me, maybe, but at least I got it out #terriblecomictuesday

A man holds up a painting. It has red paint on it, illustrating what looks like strange splatters, artistically rendering the artists thoughts in abstract patterns.

Bespectacled man: "John, did you draw this?"

John (shadowed in the foreground): "No, no."

John points at the true author of the piece. They titled it "First Blood," at first seeming to represent war? Yet, perhaps the piece represents the birth of something new, something else that is strangely brought into being.

John: "They drew 'First Blood,' not me."

Always feels like I keep letting these huge gaps form between when I make tf pieces.

A young, bright lad, looking optimistically at the camera. "A baby boi" as some might be inclined to describe him.

A large, muscular monster silhouetted by the darkness which surrounds him. Its maw is stretched open and his back is muscular, but hunched, contouring sinew as well as bone. The hair is quite similar to the boy's hair of the last picture.

Wound up drawing him, but for some reason I'm not happy with it. Maybe I was wanting something more dynamic, with greater action. Or my arm isn't in top shape. I'm not sure.

A little late for Golden Week, but wanted to draw my character, Aldarius. Especially wanted to try drawing elemental effects for him. #art #dragon

A golden dragon flying in the sky. In his right hand, a cloud of frozen mist emanates. In his left, he is channeling lightning. His tail is ablaze with blue fire. A magenta streak glows softly from his right eye.

Not exactly an hourly comic, but hard not to think about. #art #comic #hourlycomic

A man sketches on a tablet.

"A sketch can take 15-30 mins for me nowadays.
I've been averaging about an hour for the past year.
Some weeks, I can draw every day, but not always."

The man leans back, stretching a little.

"My sessions can be as short as 5 minutes.
There was a time in high school and after I could consistently draw for 2 or 3 hours.
I can do that much, stretched across sessions. Still only seems to happen once or twice a month."

The man checks his phone.

"It's hard not to compare.
I'm not a full time artist so it's not like it's comparable."

The man whispers to himself "Damn, wish that was me."

"But it's hard not to think of artists who do 120 hours a month.
And I've been struggling with 20 or 30."

Don't think I've posted these here, but sometimes I like to make hcs about what's under a Digimon's helmet. #digimon #art

Speculative designs of what's underneath Imperialdramon's mask. On the left is his Fighter form, which looks like a mix of X-Vmon with hints of Stingmon. On the right is Paladin mode, which has long whiskers and more white and gold coloring on his hair, horns, and antennae.

A grizzled WarGreymon with his face scarred and darkened horns from wear and age.

Reposts, but I'm still trying to make stuff. Past month did definitely kick my butt, though. #dragon #dnd #art

From left to right: The white dragon, the black dragon, the green dragon, the blue dragon, and the red dragon.

3 dragons lined up in busts.
A deep black obsidian dragon. It has veins of magma peppered on its body. Two obsidian ores float above its head.
An eyeless brown dragon, facing to the left.
A steel dragon. It's bulky body is well armored with blue spots of ore-like shell.

I've got a couple projects where things are plotted out, one has rough designs, scene layouts. Need to get to more finalized stages. Recently I was able to trim down a project, which I'm proud of. But it's hard to choose one to put work into and not draw random unrelated things.

For shark week, wanted to show off an OC I've been working on. Still struggling with a name for him, but I liked the idea of a sentai team comprised of ocean-themed heroes. Tho, he's quickly becoming Kamen Rider/Godzilla, but with shark themes. #art #sharkweek #ocart

A character and his various shark forms.
In the center is his standard human form, with a shock of blonde on his otherwise blue hair.
To the left is his hero form, where he's gained a blue costume that covers his face, giving him something closer to a shark appearance.
On his right is a more extreme monster form as he's getting increasingly close to being a shark monster. His jaw is wide open, showing off his numerous sharp teeth.
In the back is a foreboding set of eyes. It has a yellow strike across its face that resembles the man's blonde hair and yellow symbol on his shark forms.

For my birthday today, I'd definitely appreciate people sharing one of my favorite pieces I made for myself a couple years ago. #art

A man becoming infected with a kaiju virus. He's visibly transforming, his mouth now filled with sharp teeth, his arm having grown considerably with muscle. A row of spikes is running from his shoulder to his spine. A tail has sprouted from his back. He's shrouded in some sort of cloud.

Made a character named Ultra Solaris. Thought it'd be cool to give him galaxy and star theming, and to have stars shining in his energy/patterning. #art #originalcharacter #kaiju

A large blue kaiju with red energy blades coming out of his arms like wings. He is standing in front of a backdrop of a galaxy. The energy he outputs and even the blue patterning on his body have galaxies and stars visible within them.

He is roaring at something off into the distance.

As a cartoonist, the Calvin and Hobbes thing is what grabbed me, but boy, this part is also damning: “Unfortunately, as an artist, Mr. Jolley’s book features depictions of the human body that are in direct violation of the law.”

“Regarding the book written by Mr. Jolley, we were thrilled to feature a book written by an ORHS alumni on our shelves and were equally disappointed to have to remove it,” Molly Gallagher Smith, an Oak Ridge Schools spokeswoman, told WBIR. “Unfortunately, as an artist, Mr. Jolley’s book features depictions of the human body that are in direct violation of the law.”

A golden angel. In addition to his wings on his back, he has wings on his arms as well. A long tail ends in a stinger. His halo is a floating above his right shoulder.
