Voters grappled with whether to vote for the their favorite candidates or vote strategically when confronted with multiple candidates in several races on the Democratic ballot in the Illinois March 2026 primary. Murphy represents the 28th District, which includes parts of Chicago, Park Ridge, Niles, Des Plaines, Morton Grove, Glenview, Mount Prospect, Rolling Meadows, Hoffman Estates, Elk Grove Village, Schaumburg, Roselle and Hanover Park.
