There is no bright side to not doing art, but it did give me a chance to get more into modeling and music and meet a lot of the local scene, so at least I'm touching grass and partaking in Other Arts

Mannnnn it's been 12 years since I made my fuckass characters and 10 since I started writing them and all I have for this comic is a fuck ass script and 3 failed first drafts because I have to work a day job x2

at least the rest of the gen isn't horrific though, so yk, leaving one out isn't the end of the world

Spoops @spoops.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

idk, I think making a gorilla character with "hair" like that is just a little weird and I don't feel comfortable drawing that

Spoops @spoops.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

working on the gijinka series and yk I don't know how the fuck I'm gonna draw rillaboom bc the design itself has a "clear answer" but that just feels racist as all hell so I might just skip that one altogether like what did you mean by that gamefreak?

I'm mid-move and won't have the energy when I actually turn 25 so this is close enough for now, I think.

I genuinely miss DA. I remember going on the site a bunch before I could even make an account. By the time I finally made an account, I could just feel a strong sense of community and it inspired me to draw more. It honestly pains me how downhill it's gotten. Would've helped so many artists

describing it as "content" is also just a pet peeve of mine bc like,,, it says nothing. Is it better gameplay? better story? better visuals? fuck if we know! let's all dump one fucktillion dollars into slop! that'll make the shareholders fuck us!

000

Spoops @spoops.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

"We didn't use it for performances and we wanted our devs to focus on more creative tasks" okay then fuckface what DID you use it for? What "support tools" could possibly help with producing "better content"? fuck off.

Saw I Love Boosters last night and it genuinely felt like I was watching spy kids but for adults. This is a good thing. It was campy and fun and colorful and embraced all of it, and we need more of that now.

I was so tired of having soundstage greenscreen slop peddled as some luxury product that I needed to gaf about because it's the next entry in a long-running universe. I was so tired of having to gaf about celebrities rattling off stupid "look at me" quips. I was tired of the millennialisms.

After seeing several Very Good Movies over Several Budgets, I'm genuinely SO happy we're done with Marvel being a powerhouse and it's as irrelevant as it should be.

new lock in technique: 2 friends playing marvel rivals and streaming, full volume, playlist in the background, full volume, animation track, full volume. Can't get peace and quiet til I get enough done. Chat I've gotten an entire scene finished in record time

Five nights at Freddys guy can continuously donate to republicans, jk Rowling can ruin entire branches of politics with a hatred legal defense fund, but the digital circus and Steven universe creators were queer and made choices fans didn't like and for that they get hate campaigns to ruin them.
