I genuinely miss DA. I remember going on the site a bunch before I could even make an account. By the time I finally made an account, I could just feel a strong sense of community and it inspired me to draw more. It honestly pains me how downhill it's gotten. Would've helped so many artists

You don’t really need a budget to do indie animation, the problem is “indie animation” has been reduced to bigger budget/studio works with insane frame-by-frame animation, a big crew/voice cast and a merch line instead of scrappy shit you make in a week by yourself or with some friends in Flash.
