My best friend of 7 years. He said he was supportive, always used my name and pronouns. But the further I got into transition, he stopped talking and hanging out with me. We were super close, the kind of friend you could tell anything to and do anything for. We haven’t spoke in over a year now.

Transition is being honest about who you really are, letting yourself embody the best version of you. Even as someone who didn’t fully realize they were trans until later in life, looking back you realize that you weren’t complete. So many of my pre-transition memories feel empty, there’s a hole.

Today is the 80th anniversary of The Railway Series, aka Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends. My original hyper fixation franchise. I have so many fond memories of watching the series on VHS, playing with the toys, and singing the songs. My earliest memories are of Thomas. Thank you, Thomas.
