I am simply psych student, but I’m going to say this until I’m blue in the face: the United States has a sociocultural systemic dysfunction. it is based in delusion and apathy. If we could classify social cultural systems having a disorder due to how it treats its people, the United States is one.

I love this because I think about how easy it is to be smart often. Yes you have to train critical thinking, but it doesn’t take much to be smart. It takes a boatload of energy to be delusional and stupid. Im being so serious! So, belief in “white supremacy” takes unnecessary energy. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I really suck at making self-care plans on the weekends 😫!! Partially because it’s ADHD is still equating self-care with Work and not just self maintenance/self love. I may need to journal some more. The fact that neurodivergence can affect how quickly you internalize something says quite a bit.

So, first I needed to decolonize Psychology deeper than I thought I was. I already am hyper aware of it, and I knew I was inundated by it and still had issues with it (and likely will perpetually because capitalism has yet to be addressed). Now, I’m a little more aware of how deep it is.
