I hate shopping today. I live in Omaha. The physical places to shop are basically department stores and maybe some local shops that you can’t find anymore. And by that I mean, if you search online, you get 81 ads for Amazon. Commerce in the USA is fucking dead.

I’ve been hearing good things about Dungeon Crawler Carl and had planned on reading it. But then I see this ad the author, Matt Dinniman, did for Audible while creeping on Reddit. Audible used to be great. Then Amazon gobbled it up and enshitified it. This is a bad look. 🙂‍↔️👎

I’m in the middle of season 2 of 1989’s Coach tv show and, I gotta say, it holds up as a pretty great example of a TV sitcom. Yes, Hayden is a jerk in a lot of ways, but I think you need that in a sitcom otherwise there’s no stakes and no humor.
