Its frustrating that many games mess up the implementation as Shenmue set the standard for QTE that modern devs miss. Actions matched the regular combat controls, & failing rarely meant a game over. Instead of stopping the game, fail states often led to branching paths, something we rarely see today

I enjoyed the first Moonlighter a lot, so I was happy the second is more or less more of the same. Its a more bombastic take I think, but you can feel fairly confident if you already enjoy the series there is nothing to worry about.
