Okay yes, coming back to this, but based on the tattoo and Spider's tan we know he's spent time the Metkayina...but Quaritch isn't in his Mangkwan gear (and I assume he wouldn't change?) so my current thoughts are that this is happening toward the beginning?

I don't draw my Na'vi much, but here's an old concept and a fresh doodle of Teyat, one of my hyperviolent na'vi folks✨ [ #avatarsky #na'viOC #na'vi #fanclan #simulacra #avatar ]

A small page of doodles centuring around a Na'vi OC. The first drawing is an initial concept of the character Teyat, she has short braids at the back and two large ones that entwine at the front. She has several spines holding the front braids together, and a set of mirrored scars across her face, with black, white and red facepaint.

The second drawing, a pose study, shows Teyat kneeling with her back towards the viewer. Her skin is more purple here, and her warpaint extends down her back, her arms and her thighs. She has several spines nestled beneath her skin, and wears modified human bones.

There's a new novel I need to read. James Cameron acquires and will write a script for an adaptation of Joe Abercrombie's THE DEVILS. He intends to write it after finishing post work on AVATAR: FIRE & ASH.

No Avatar Fire and Ash news, unfortunately. But I am looking forward to Fantastic Four. But I am still holding on to the theory that Avatar Fire and Ash teaser will show in front of the Fantastic Four.

Okay so what are the guesses on what the next piece of concept art will be for A3? They've touched on a lot of the big threads for the movie but we still have yet to see anything on either Kiri, Spider, or Jake.

So I was thinking, when Spider gets his "miracle", I can imagine that he wants to pass the Iknimaya for Omaticaya since he was raised around this clan. Instead of doing Iknimaya for Metkayina. #spidersocorro #AvatarFireAndAsh #avatarbluesky

I just realized something, when the Sullys split up, what if Jake, Kiri, and Spider stay at the Metkayina and Neytiri, Tuk, and Lo'ak leave? I can see it going the other way, where Jake, Kiri, and Spider leave, and Neytiri, Lo'ak, and Tuk stay. #AvatarFireAndAsh

Just as a heads up for anyone who posts fanfic on AO3, there was a HUGE AI scrap that took place recently. The link to the Tumblr with the information and the search tool is attached, so please check your work. FUCK AI! AI IS THEFT! #ao3 #fanfiction #fuckai

Screenshot of a Tweet about the AI scrap on AO3 that reads "This is insane, apparently ao3 suffered a huge data extraction, tons of fics, to use it to train ai, to make it better at writing fics😭ao3 fought back and it seems the extraction “stopped” but there’s a tool that allows you to check of your fics were stolen and 3 of mine were😭" There are two screenshots attached to it of a Tumblr post and the results of the search tool.

Screenshot of a Tumblr post about a tool that allows people to search if their AO3 fics were scrapped that reads "Alright! Sorry for being so absent today! I was building a tool so you can all check your own names on demand.

I am asking that you not talk about it on Hugging Face. I'm sure word will get there eventually, but I'd like to avoid them accessing this as much as possible. Feel absolutely free to spread around Tumblr.

AO3 search tool is here! Use page 1 to search scraped fics by username. Use page 2 to search by work ID (which you'll need to do if you're looking for an anonymous work).
Or you can use this version, which is strongly recommended if you've published more than about 20 fics on the username you're searching."

Screenshot of the search tool searching for the username "WriterInWhite" and all the fics that came up as being confirmed to be scrapped by AI.

Brief sketch studies from film stills of both recombinant soldiers, Lyle Wainfleet & Miles Quaritch. Lyle is looking towards the viewer with a small grin, Quaritch, however, has a tight expression somewhere between a snarl, a grin, and a grimace.

And if the reason we didn't get this shot in A2 is because it was for A3 and after the fight, the separation, and the reunion, as they get ready for the final battle, they press their foreheads together and say "strong heart"?

Behind the scenes shot of Zoe Saldaña and Sam Worthington, looking like they're about to press their foreheads together in the iconic Jeytiri pose. Both of their eyes are closed as if they are breathing in the moment.
