With new testimony entering the investigation the question isn't just whether Lord Eighth can continue to help Bolt. It's what happens to Kenosha politically if his position becomes untenable in the middle of the Shinju crisis. So heading into ch 38 I'm watching the following:/8

These beings started with instinct and curiosity and now they are developing attachments. If Jura genuinely comes to value Hidari, what happens if Hidari is killed? Meanwhile Kobu's case against Lord Eighth is still moving!/7

I can hold off on the Minato comparisons for now until we see exactly how it works but it IS interesting! 👀 Jura's progression might be the part I'm most curious about long term. The concept of "friend" has now entered his understanding of Hidari./6

Dormantshiki knowing this about Boruto is quite dangerous. Then there's Sarada's earring. If Boruto can actually use it as a Flying Raijin target without needing one of his usual totems, we may be watching his version of FTG become substantially more versatile./5

He immediately recognizes how badly Sarada being threatened affects Bolt's composure which reminds me somewhat of Naruto's relationships. His bonds repeatedly gave him enormous strength but they also made him reckless when someone he loved was threatened./4

Sarada needs to survive for the plan to work. I don't think Code wants an all out brawl rn and will avoid it at all costs. He won't sacrifice his leverage for what he's trying to accomplish. (Securing Boruto) The bigger development to me is Dormantshiki (Momoshiki)./3

Ik I'm late on this but better to take some time to digest things than going the knee jerk route! Chap 37 has a lot of moving pieces but the idea connecting most of them for me is trust. Sarada trusts Boruto Boruto's attachment to Sarada affects his judgment./1
