Can absolutely relate. Have a weevil? Sometimes they help.

Trace the sponsor + poster of the fundraiser - Jason Chavez Cruz. Google him. He is an MPLS city council member for the ward Chloe lives in. I searched for his Bluesky account + scrolled back. It's an active account, not new, and posts re this fundraiser. Use the link he posted - # 6295b51b3.

This is an iPhone screenshot showing a post by Jason Chavez (jchavezmpls.bsky.social), quote posting his earlier post about a Gofundme campaign for 2-year-old Chloe. The quote post from one day ago reads: Ward 9 neighbors! This happened in our hood. Please spread this link and help our neighbors out. (broken heart emoji)

The original post reads: Help bring 2-Year-old Chloe and Her Father Home. They were kidnapped today South Minneapolis. With the permission of the mother, we are reaching out to raise funds for lawyers fee's, food, bond requests, rent, food, livability, & resources to keep this family together.

below the text is an image of the Gofundme page, showing a smiling toddler in a pale pink fuzzy coat. The fundraiser goal is set at $50,000.

Wait, the bosses at... ICE? You think any boss at ICE has told these street goons to use less violence?

Knit them and wear them... cold weather only. Never in bed. All summer, it's flip flops.

POV: a white woman sitting in the floor trying on two different hand knitted socks at once. Feet are stretched out forward from the picture plane with hand knit socks on both feet and the second socks of each pair in between the feet. Sock colors are denim and brown in an ikat pattern on the left, blue with flashes of yellow and red orange on the right.

POV: a white woman sitting on a wood floor trying on two different hand knitted socks at once. Feet are stretched out forward from the picture plane with hand knit socks on both feet and the second socks of each pair in between the feet. Both socks are mottled ice blue with columns of baby cables on the left and a simple pattern of lace V's on the right.

A sock my mom knit me is on my right foot, crossed over my left leg so we can see the whole sock. The yarn forms regular stripes of orange, red orange, charcoal grey and denim blue.

As requested ... Morgen loves seasonal decorations

A tabby cat with a white nose, chest and paws sits next to a tall red conical Christmas tree made of small red balls like cherries. She has scrunched up the red, green, and white patterned cloth on the table and is looking at you with lovey eyes.

I have a lot of Thanksgiving work ahead of me for the folks in our little overnight shelter, so I'm taking a moment of gratitude for friends, experiences, and creative work in my life. I'm grateful to have so many things and people to love 💕 (Alpine Bloom hat in Quince & Co. Chickadee + Spincycle)

A blue-grey hat with a repeated flower motif lies on a red placemat. The work is still on the circular needle, with the leaves and a full set of petals already knitted. The flower pattern is rusty red, yellow, and blue green. The hat is at least half finished.

I knit the pieces of a horse who will be part of a farmyard collective for a ridiculous 5" baby doll named Baby.

Knitted pieces of a grey stuffed horse with black hooves : the head / body blob is at the top of the photo and below it are three unrolled rectangular pieces of knitting which are horse legs ready to be rolled up and one rolled up leg ready to be sewn into a cylinder

Puppy! It's lovely that you were able to go get that joy. Even tho it's a cliche by now, I want to give you The Mary Oliver poem. You do not need to be a certain kind of way to be a beloved vibrant living being. It's ok to let yourself love a puppy. It's ok to come out or hang back.

Beautiful affirmation posted by @charlotteclymer.bsky.social - reposted here with ALT text #protecttranspeople

Transgender and non-binary people have existed for all of recorded human history: every civilization, every country, every culture, every race, every ethnicity, every religion, every political system, every class, every profession, open and closeted, every year, every month, every day.

If you are trans or non-binary, you are part of a great and proud lineage, stretching all around the globe, all the way back to antiquity.

You should feel what you feel on any given day, but never let any government or any authority or anyone make you believe you're unnatural and undeserving of all the beauty life has to offer.

Never forget there is nothing more frightening to the inauthentic than living, breathing, loving proof of the unapologetically authentic.

Love yourself for who you are, give thanks for those who came before and taught us to love ourselves as we are, and remember that your existence is an ongoing catalyst for the liberation of all those around you, trans and non-trans, who are forced to be what they are not.

You are a miracle of the human spirit.

Publicity image of Lisa Lisa who sang "I wonder if I take you home" in 1985 . She is wearing tiered magenta pink earrings, nude lipstick, strong eyebrows, deeply swooping bangs, dark eye liner, and a silky pink headband, as is right and proper for the 80's diva that she is

The outlets don't work, you say? I'll be right up

A deeply rendered greyscale drawing of Zeen Chin, a character from the Kingdom of Death, waking out of a foggy area wearing an eyeless face shield, a cloak with dramatic points behind the head, and furry goat leg pants. Parts of the garment appear to be made from human body parts, including faces at the shoulders and knees and clasped bony arms around the waist. I don't think you want this person answering your apartment maintenance calls.

My latest knitting is for a tiny baby doll my mom stuck me with a few years ago. In the midwest tradition of lawn geese or seasonal garden banners, mom says Baby's outfit has to be changed at the start of each month. Currently working on a farm-theme outfit for Baby for February including Capt. Oink

A knitting project in progress: a 5" white baby doll dressed in a nearly-complete set of knitted grey overalls and a knitted green tshirt. Baby sits on a table with knitting tools around her - some double pointed needles, a needle gauge, a small packet of embroidery yarn.
