Very good news- the story’s brilliant. It’s unadaptable, but I’d love to see Conan Doyle’s The Silver Mirror because the narrator’s wonderful. He’s susceptible to supernatural events not because he’s a believer or a sceptic but because he’s exhausting himself to bring down a corrupt businessman.

This is *good*. Using regeneration as a metaphor for the many identities of a desi person (German/British/Panjabi “I’m every one of them all at once”) really resonated for me, and it was eye opening to see Demons of the Punjab informed by Jaspreet Singh’s lived experience. Highly recommended.
