Sunday mornings (for me) are for new fics! Questioned intentions &Team, Taki and Fuma (talking about Fuma/K), 1062 words, T, no archive warnings. #AndTeam #&Team archiveofourown.org/works/66298213

Questioned intentions by UndeadRobins
Summary:
When Fuma gets dragged into the bathroom by a strangely acting Taki, he can't help but assume the worst.

In many ways, it's actually the best.

(Or Taki wants to know what Fuma's intentions are towards K)

Notes:
Daa told me I needed to add the "you may need tissues" tag to this one. Which is only fair as I made myself cry while writing it.

This is an amazing fic. Really any Kpop/Jpop fan would like it. Hybe as... a thing. Rebellion. Zingy one-liners. And the mpreg is *not* what you're thinking.

This is me, saying this, to so many of you. If only.

Short Distance Friendship For Emma
In another life we are neighbors We trade sticks of butter for Triple A batteries Gardening tips and plumbers Garage codes and keys We salute each other from our front porches with icy popsicles steaming mugs of coffee arms full of packages We do not need to catch up because I saw you yesterday and I will see you today or at the very worst, tomorrow In another life, we have all the time in the world—our baby monitors stretching across the back fence every night, as dusk turns dark In another life, the only reason we don't walk each other home is because we're both already there

Comments are literally fuel for writers. I actually wrote more Buddie because my first fic received comments. Tell the author you loved it and then tell them at least one thing you loved and you will make their day I PROMISE you.

#EVNNE succeeded in giving off the mischievous, playful vibe on stage, with its dance moves resembling a retro comedy musical rather than the EDM-based dance style common in K-pop. And such a vibe didn’t come unintended.

in "In my lotion", there's mention of Marcel Proust, which I'm venturing a guess is a reference to the Proust effect, triggering memories of the past through smell. very cool!

Fan fiction writers will craft book-length pieces with the promise of no monetary gain, all for the love of the craft and the fandom. People writing for months on end amidst their busy lives. It’s a testament to the fact that humans will create with no other incentive than for the joy creating.

and finally, let's talk FIC LENGTH! There's a good variety of short and long fics!

Slide 7: fics divided unto different word count lengths

100

justin @spindriftfics.bsky.social · 22/01/2025

Let's talk SHIPS! These are the nine most popular ships in ao3, but there were also many other pairings written for that didn't make the cut! Also, Nichojoo dominates at 335 fics

210

justin @spindriftfics.bsky.social · 22/01/2025

Let's talk CHARACTERS! While all nine members of the group have been featured in many fics, the characters who appeared in MORE THAN HALF of all the &team fics are Nicholas (559 fics) and Euijoo (529 fics)!

Slide 5: Pie chart listing all nine members of &TEAM and their prevalence in the &TEAM tag fics

110

justin @spindriftfics.bsky.social · 22/01/2025

Let's talk CATEGORIES! The category with the most number of fics, unsurprisingly, is the M/M category with 835 fics!

Slide 4: A pie chart showing the categories [M/M, Gen, F/M, Multi, F/F, and uncategorized]

110

justin @spindriftfics.bsky.social · 22/01/2025

Let's talk RATINGS! Though generally a good mix of different ratings, the TASTEFUL T rating leads the charge with 267 fics!

Slide 3: distribution of the five ratings [Eloquent E, Mindful M, Tasteful T, Graceful G, and Undefined U]

Before I crawl off to bed, I have an #&TeamFic to recommend from a fellow Lunaret. This Cherriez fic nearly stopped my heart and eventually made me cry. It's a beautifully rendered friends-to-lovers story, with some pining at the beginning and the most satisfying resolution I've read in a while.

One strong thing I'd say is that kinks/fetishes don't equal morality. We're all into different things, some more kinky than others. For some folks, even something more than vanilla stuff is overly kinky. So I apply this particular saying I'd come across: >
